2023年11月27日，一份从北京城里发过来的快递送到了我家。打开看后，拟制不住欣喜，速成此文。

几年前，我在北京地坛公园溜达时结识了一位北京门球人刘玖占，后来一个偶然的机会，我知道了他的孙子也喜欢玩门球。再后来通过几次关注，我算是彻底知道了现如今北京城里最年轻的门球人是谁了。

北京城里邮寄过来的资料我看了，资料显示客观的东西很多，主观的其实也很简单，是这个孩子真心的喜欢门球。内因外因都很重要，最重要的是内因起作用了呗。

这本由网名湘女（周利利）者所著的（《紫禁城球童垚垚》和云鹏二队）书很新潮，很漂亮。她是垚垚（刘泽仁）所在球队的教练，先是哄着孩子玩，后就让他上场参加比赛，再后就让孩子当比赛的临场指挥，时不时的还让孩子参与到解说门球中，真可谓用心良苦，是垚垚的贵人。在以湘女的球队参加京津冀门球比赛为基础，添加了垚垚成长过程中的有关素材，制作了精美的《美篇》并集结成书，是湘女的贡献；是较为系统地介绍北京城里最年轻的门球人的一份很好的图文资料；能把这本书邮寄给我，是我的荣幸。我撰文予以记之，是应该的。发到门球网上，是为网站提供一个很好的素材。

在中国，我经历的发展少儿门球较早的是在河北廊坊，他们创办了全国第一次少儿门球赛事。

后来，在我50岁之前，我为了报考门球国家级门球裁判而参加了两次全国门球赛事，一次在天津大港、另一次在河南开封，那两次全国少儿赛，都搞得很好。

在我们单位的三连片门球场地上，有一年我们承办某一次“京南友谊杯”门球赛事，设置了少儿组，他们在球场上的良好表现让我们大开眼界。

搞少儿门球最有名的是广东中山郑二小，那里出了一个明哥（吴汉明），他是中国少儿门球的知名教练，他教出了一批门球球员被称之为中国门球的“新生代”。

我的老乡杨锡和在天津也是功勋级别的少儿门球教头，他的学生柳源目前门球技战术正值巅峰时期。

现在南方省市的校园门球比较领先，我知道的几位北方门球教头都“雁南飞”了，他们基本成“职业门球人”了。

我见过很多小孩玩门球，能玩到垚垚（尧尧）目前这个层次的，不多，北京城里，垚垚的门球技战术水平，可以说是出类拔萃。

    On November 27, 2023, a package arrived at my house from the city of Beijing. Upon opening it, I couldn't contain my joy and decided to write this piece.
A few years ago, while strolling in Beijing's Tiantan Park, I met a gateball player named Liu Jiuzhan. Later, by chance, I learned that his grandson also enjoyed playing gateball. Through several interactions, I came to know who the youngest gateball player in Beijing is today.
After reviewing the materials sent from Beijing, I realized there were plenty of objective details, but the most simple and essential fact was that this child genuinely loved gateball. Both internal and external factors were important, but it was clear that the internal ones had come into play.
The book "Forbidden City Ball Boy Yao Yao" and the Cloud Pegasus Second Team, written by the online pseudonym Xiang Nv (Zhou Lili), is eye-catching and impressive. She is the coach of Yao Yao (Liu Zeren), guiding the child to play, then allowing him to participate in matches, and eventually even letting him act as an on-site commander during games. Periodically, she also lets the child engage in gateball commentary. This demonstrates her dedicated efforts and support for Yao Yao. Based on their participation in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei gateball competition, Xiang Nv included material on Yao Yao's growth, creating an exquisite "masterpiece" which was compiled into a book. This was Xiang Nv's contribution and offered a systematic introduction to the youngest gateball player in Beijing. I felt honored to receive this book and it is only appropriate for me to document it. Posting it on the gateball website provides valuable content for the site.
In China, the earliest development of junior gateball that I experienced was in Langfang, Hebei. They organized the country's first junior gateball competition.
Before I turned 50, I participated in two national gateball competitions in order to qualify as a national-level gateball referee. One was held in Dagang, Tianjin, and the other in Kaifeng, Henan. Both these national junior tournaments were very well organized.
At our unit's gateball courts, we hosted a "Jingnan Friendship Cup" gateball competition, including a junior category. The impressive performances of the children on the field were truly eye-opening for us.
The most famous figure in junior gateball is Ming Ge (Wu Hanming) from Zheng Er Xiao in Zhongshan, Guangdong. He is a renowned coach for junior gateball in China and has trained a group of players known as the "new generation" of Chinese gateball.
My fellow villager Yang Xi is also an esteemed coach for junior gateball in Tianjin. His student Liu Yuan is currently at the peak of his gateball skills and tactics.
Currently, gateball in schoolyards in southern provinces and cities is more advanced. Several gateball coaches from the north whom I know have now become "professionals" in gateball.
I have seen many children playing gateball, but very few have reached the level of Yao Yao. In Beijing, Yao Yao's technical and tactical skills in gateball can be considered outstanding.
