The Lousang Chun She is located in the Sanyi Palace in Lousang Temple Village, fifteen miles south of Zhuozhou City. It was built in the Sui Dynasty and has been renovated during the Tang, Liao, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties,1,400 years. According to historical records, the temple complex is grand and magnificent, with main wooden statues, ancient cypress trees towering, numerous stone tablets, lush flowers and trees. Visitors are enchanted by the beauty and find it hard to leave. Every year on the 23rd day of the third lunar month, a grand temple fair is held here, where "elders and villagers stroll around with wine, celebrating the spring festival. The grandeur of the spring festival surpasses that of the autumn. The palaces of the Han dynasty were all fields of grain, and even the deserted villages were surnamed Liu." These lines from ancient poems vividly describe the bustling scene of the temple fair.
Contemporary poet Wei Fang of Zhuozhou praises the Lousang Chun She in his poem "Ode to Lousang Chun She":
Lousang Chun She recounts the rise and fall,
Watching the changes of the world with a broad view.
Xuande's heroic deeds for the Han dynasty,
Exhausting efforts to worship the heavens.
A classic tale of loyalty and righteousness,
The Three Kingdoms vie for power with swords and spears.
So many events from past to present,
Ink artists paint colorful and splendid chapters.
