继第一个波次基本完成后，我在小雪之日（2023.11.22），开启了使用平台和工具，把涿州古代八人进行梳理，计划中英文完成八篇，做一件过去没人做过的事儿，故，作第二个波次（序言）如下。

需要说明一下，三条吧：

第一，多年来对于涿州历史文化的研究和热爱，尤其是对于众多的涿州古代历史人物有天然的兴趣，由此，《看图说话系列》第二个波次就油然而生了。特别说明的是，这是原动力，是在践行“做自己喜欢做的事儿”。

第二，面对挖掘出来的很多涿州古代名人的时候，发现会有多种理解和说法，能够形成一个系统的个人意见看法，有自己的一家之言，其实挺难的。“百花齐放、百家争鸣”同样适用于历史文化研究，社会是多彩的，各种认识也是不断丰富的，那么，你就出来走两步呗。

第三，继续使用AI翻译功能，重复一句在第一个波次（序言）中的话：旨在让更多的外国朋友也能看到并能看懂。

《看图说话系列二》中梳理出的涿州古代八人，是个人的一家之言；是说涿州的，是“挖掘、梳理、传承、弘扬”涿州文化的一部分；是给更多的人看的。还是老规矩，计划中的八篇，每篇控制在1000字以内，中英文两种文本。

需要感谢两个人，一是七零后原籍高碑店市的李广春先生；另一是八零后涿州籍的陈国兴先生。前者制作了八尊石雕像（涿固路的范阳文化园大门广场），后者和自己的创业团队开启了了属于自己的AI系统，使我这个虽学过几天英语，但终归是门外汉的人敢于在七十岁的时候使用中英文写作。

还要感谢两个人，一是小我一岁的涿州农民李保田，他是涿州的第一号的民营企业家，在今年（2023年）拿下了博士学位；二是涿州籍的退休记者张三清，在这两年竟然完成了十余本专辑，三本专著，第四本专著正在写作中。这两位是我学习的楷模和动力。要说我在自己七十岁的时候，为啥还要笔耕不辍的整理文字呢？有这两位的启迪和榜样引路呗。

本波次要完成的八位历史名人，是按照历史年代排序的，其顺序一个也不能错，这是读者需要注意的。八篇是：

After the completion of the first phase, on the day of Minor Snow (November 22, 2023), I began to use platforms and tools to sort out the eight ancient figures of Zhuozhou. I plan to complete eight articles in both Chinese and English, aiming to do something that has never been done before. Therefore, the second phase (prologue) is as follows.

I need to clarify a few things:

Firstly, my long-standing research and passion for Zhuozhou's history and culture, especially my natural interest in numerous historical figures from ancient Zhuozhou, led to the spontaneous emergence of the second phase of the "Picturing History" series. It is important to note that this was the driving force behind my decision to pursue what I love.

Secondly, when faced with the exploration of many ancient figures from Zhuozhou, I found multiple interpretations and explanations. It was challenging to form a systematic personal opinion and perspective, but as the saying goes, "let a hundred flowers bloom, let a hundred schools of thought contend." This principle also applies to the study of historical culture. The world is colorful, and various perspectives continue to enrich it. Therefore, I decided to step forward.

Thirdly, I will continue to use AI translation to reiterate a statement from the first phase (prologue): aiming to allow more foreign friends to see and understand.

The eight ancient figures from Zhuozhou, detailed in the "Picturing History Series II," represent my personal perspective. They are about Zhuozhou, and they are a part of "exploring, sorting, inheriting, and promoting" Zhuozhou's culture, made for more people to see. As per the usual plan, each of the planned eight articles will be kept within 1000 words in both Chinese and English.

I would like to express my gratitude to two individuals: Mr. Li Guangchun, a native of Gaobeidian City born in the 1970s and Mr. Chen Guoxing, a native of Zhuozhou born in the 1980s. The former created eight stone sculptures (at the entrance plaza of Fanyang Culture Park on Zhuogu Road) while the latter and his entrepreneurial team developed their own AI system. This enabled me, a person who has studied English for only a few days and is ultimately an amateur, to write in both Chinese and English at the age of seventy.

I would also like to thank two other individuals: Li Baotian, a Zhuozhou farmer who is one year younger than me and is the first private entrepreneur in Zhuozhou to obtain a doctorate degree this year (2023); and retired journalist Zhang Sanqing, a native of Zhuozhou, who has surprisingly completed more than ten albums and three monographs in the past two years, with the fourth monograph currently in progress. These two individuals are my role models and sources of inspiration. So why, at the age of seventy, do I continue to write? It is because of their enlightenment and exemplary guidance.

It must be noted that the eight historical figures to be covered in this phase are arranged in chronological order, and the sequence must not be mistaken – this is something that readers need to pay attention to. The eight articles are as follows:
